Dental Care Nurse (Trainee/Qualified)

We are searching for a qualified dental nurse or someone keen to forge a new career as one, who shares our values for patient care and contributing positively to a strong team spirit.

Monday & Tuesday 8.30am – 8.00pm

Wednesday 8.30am - 3.00pm

Friday 9.30 - 2.00pm

You may be looking to join the profession, or you could be a registered dental nurse already. Either way, you will be a warm, confident, enthusiastic person with great communication and organisational skills.

The role – Dental Care Nurse / Receptionist

​

A dental care nurse is an essential part of the team, helping to ensure the patient is well cared for. A dental care nurse works closely with the dentist and hygienist providing assistance throughout the patient’s visit.

Your responsibilities are:

  • Assisting the dentist with a variety of treatments from Dental Health Reviews to more complex treatments

  • Assisting the hygienist with treatments and support

  • Preparing materials

  • Making sure the proper equipment and instruments are available when they are needed

  • Decontaminating instruments working within strict cross infection procedures

  • Taking and recording notes on the patients Mouth Health and procedures

  • Stock control and audits and making sure you are working in line with standards set out for dentistry

  • Engaging closely with patients to build rapport and trust

  • Helping patients to understand their treatment options without the use of dental jargon

  • Helping the practice to grow through obtaining further training and implementing new ideas

  • Helping at reception with making appointments, taking money, taking phone calls, filing

  • Upselling our services to patients

Pay: £10,316.00-£23,777.00 per year depending no experience

Dental Hygienist

​

Greyholme Dental Suite, is seeking a motivated, passionate hygiene professional to work in our modern, practice on Monday & Tuesday afternoon/evenings.

​

Expected start date: 03/06/2024

Salary: negotiable £28-35

Package: Fully employed status, pension and paid holiday plus bank holidays.

Hours: 10 hours (per week)

​

· Minimum 30-minute appointment times with nursing assistance with access to EMS Peizon ultrasonic and EMS airflow

· Excellent remuneration
